Hello all,

Is it a requirement how much you earned on a work experience letter if you freelance? I am a freelance editor. I listed the amount I earned per project/book but for some reason (unknown to me), the publisher does not want to sign the letter with the amounts I was paid. The reason might be because they don't want to spend time checking each amount.

I will be submitting my tax forms and invoices plus bookkeeping information. Will this suffice?

One of my employers, for whom I was freelancing for a year, refused to give me a reference letter. For my OINP application, I used my tax documents and bank statements to prove I had a job with them and I attached a letter of explanation describing my work hours, nature of my job and other details.

I'm still waiting for my nomination and if I get approved I'll use the same documents for my PR application.

Good luck to you.

Thanks for your reply. I will do the same.

I hope it goes well for you. Best of luck!

I got Ontario nomination on July 6, ITA on July 12 and eAPR on Aug 9. I've passed medicals and currently on NA2.

No, I freelanced for a single company - I had all the documents including work contract and offer letter. Only reference letter and payslips were missing.

Hello Wandering Mind
I have also similarly freelanced for a single company. Can you please recall what did you fill as 'Employer/Company Name' in the EE form?
Thank you so much
