I am having a total 7.5 years of experience in government job. But I got a transfer about 3.5 years ago. The job is still the same. Only my institution has changed and all my official records and service book are forwarded to this institution and still my date of joining the department remains the same.
So my question is ‘Will it be okay if I provide reference letter from my present institution only for the recent period of 3.5 years?’ as my points for work experience will max out at 3 years and I will put my experience at my previous institution in my Personal History Folder. The head of my previous institution has retired and the new one is not ready to provide me a reference letter or anything at all.
Is it okay?
And I am even qualifying in FSW 100 point scale with this recent experience of 3.5 years (the scale of 2-3 years) as well.
Please advise.
