Hello everyone, I have an issue when entering the details of ones work experience when creating an express entry profile.

1)Since there is no provision for the entering of the exact day the work experience started, which is the correct month that i should chose as the start date of employment in the following cases:
a) Work started on the 26th of April 20XX and ended on the 14 of February 20XX
b) Work started on the 8th of September 20XX and ended on the 8th of November 20XX
c) Work started on the 14th of November 20XX and ended on the 10th of December 20XX

2) I worked personally for a man full time who gave me an employment letter with a brand name that contains all the details of employment except his contact details. He has refused to give me a letter of reference. However, I know his contact details(email and phone number) by virtue of our correspondences to each other. Since CIC wants documents that can be verifiable, how can i present this to IRCC?

3) In a situation where the hours worked per week is within a minimum of 30hrs per week which goes higher as per the prevailing conditions and since we cannot enter a range of figures when filling the profile, is it okay to just put in 30hrs per week as the number of hours per week worked?

1. Just key in the Month and Year.
2. Either get a letter from a colleague with his contact details (visiting card) or get a notarized letter in place of reference and attach all appointment letters along with it.
3.As long as it is 1560Hrs./yr. it is fine.

Thanks for your reply. What i was thinking was that since those dates of employment did not start at the exact beginning of the months, i could approximate them to the nearest month for instance, i was thinking that the one that started on the 26th of April could simply be approximated to May. Likewise the one that ended in November 8 could simply be approximated to October.

Secondly, just like i stated, i worked personally for the man therefore there was no third party to this particular employment. In other words, it is only this man that can give me a letter or any other thing for that matter on this employment.

Thirdly, I concur with you on this one.

No, the dates/months need to match with what will be provided in the reference letter (and/or appointment letter, if attached)
