Hello all,
I worked as an assistant/product manager for 9 months in a family-owned business. I was given a fixed salary for the job. However, this business, although very firmly established, has always paid employees in cash. Also, they don't do formalised payslips or provident fund etc. It's just how small businesses do things in Pakistan unfortunately. The only documentation I will have is the reference letter by them certifying my employment, duties, salary etc. This work is not my primary NOC which is NOC Type A, however, since it falls under NOC Type 0 and will count towards my total foreign work experience, I still want to include it.
Besides an experience letter there is no further documentation to prove I did this.
Now I'm torn. I'm hesitant to put this in my work experience since it's a family business and I don't want to run a risk of running foul of any suspicion that would raise, at the same time, since I did do this work, why should I be scared to show it as experience.
Please advise.
