Hello Aspirants/Achievers,

I need help in understanding how work experience thing works in FSW program. I would like to put my queries point wise, for a better acknowledgement of the same.

1. Is it mandatory to produce a letter of recommendation stating job responsibilities, other than an authorized experience letter, with signature and seal of company you worked for?
2. Do we need to provide proofs of salary transfer into bank? I used to get cash in hand plus different facilities with respect to basic needs, will this be objectionable?
3. How to measure the relevancy of your job profile in terms of its relativity to NOC you choose. I mean how far it can be stretched to show that it still relates to super category in NOC.
4. What are the prime factors taken into consideration by CIC awarding whatsoever points for your experience claim.

I humbly request someone who practically has gone through this process, to resolve my queries. I am counting on this important information before I could start getting into application mode.

Thanks in Advance

Hello Aspirants/Achievers,

I need help in understanding how work experience thing works in FSW program. I would like to put my queries point wise, for a better acknowledgement of the same.

1. Is it mandatory to produce a letter of recommendation stating job responsibilities, other than an authorized experience letter, with signature and seal of company you worked for?

Yes. Not only is it mandatory, this letter is one of the most important documents for FSW applicants as it establishes eligibility under FSW. The letter has to list your job duties and these duties have to closely match whatever NOC you're choosing.

2. Do we need to provide proofs of salary transfer into bank? I used to get cash in hand plus different facilities with respect to basic needs, will this be objectionable?

This isn't mandatory, but can be asked for, especially if your employer isn't a large company, or if there are any other factors that cause CIC to question whether your listed experience is real.

3. How to measure the relevancy of your job profile in terms of its relativity to NOC you choose. I mean how far it can be stretched to show that it still relates to super category in NOC.

The duties need to match the NOC. An officer will read the NOC description and compare that with your letter, and if they aren't reasonably close, you'll run into issues. The words don't have to match verbatim, but the meaning and intent do need to match. People usually try and get a letter with some key words that match the NOC description.

4. What are the prime factors taken into consideration by CIC awarding whatsoever points for your experience claim.

If your experience is legitimate and matches the chosen NOC, you'll get points. If CIC thinks your experience is exaggerated/faked/hard to verify, they'll ask you for more documentation (salary slips, tax returns, etc), and will make a final determination based on your response.

I humbly request someone who practically has gone through this process, to resolve my queries. I am counting on this important information before I could start getting into application mode.

Thanks in Advance
