Hi, I am applying for visa for September 2019 intake at Memorial University for my master's. I graduated from bachelor's in December 2017. Since then , I did an internship experience for 3 months from Feb 2018 to April 2018. Then I prepared for IELTS and GRE. I worked on another company from Nov 2018 to feb 2019. Thus, i only have four months of work experience to show for my visa application. Since internship do not account for anything as there was no pay involved, how do i address this gap year in my visa application. My ielts score is 7.5 and no less than 7. Gre is 308 and gpa is 3.88 out of 4. Will this gap affect my visa chances?

Others can comment as well but you will find examples posted on the forum where people have applied successfully with gaps totalling years mainly between graduating in their home country and applying but also examples where people have no work experience or have work gaps or simply transition from graduating straight to masters.

Work experience or not just as important is show that your current qualifications , your career aspirations on returning to your home country are all relevant to any course you plan to take, relevant work experience is a bonus.

Above my personal view but to be honest nobody here can do more than speculate on your chances so all you can do is prepare well and submit your application, good luck.
