Hi everyone,

I have 2 years of experience working in Accounting (NOC 1111) and 2 years of experience working in Database administration (NOC 2712). Can I claim 3 year or more of foreign work experience or can I only claim 2 years for the primary NOC out of the 2?

Thank you!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
You can claim three years, but if you are applying under FSW, then you should claim two years for NOC 1111 to achieve the maximum points.

Thank you for your feedback. I've got another question.
NOC 2172 is now my current job.
NOC 1111 was what I did a little over 2 years ago.
My college degree was in Accounting (NOC 1111) but I'm actually planning on basing my application on the new job NOC- 2172.

It sounds safer to go with 1111 because I've got formal education for it but it's not what I'm currently doing or planning to do in the future.
Is it advisable to go with the old NOC or the new one that matches my current job?
Thanks a lot!!

Can I clarify in OP's case why choosing NOC 1111 will get max points under FSW grid? Are the experience points for FSW calculation ((min67/100) must be from a single NOC? I thought as long as an applicant meets the minimum requirement of 1 year continues employment by one specific NOC, all NOCs will be collectively considered for the FSW grid.
