Have the following situation with respect to work experience history of my spouse who's PA.
1. Job 1 - 06/2009 - 03/2011
2. Job 2 - 03/2011 - 09/2011
3. Job 3 - 10/2016 - 03/2017
So, total of 34 months when we calculate per MM/YYYY as done in EE profile. But when we calculate with exact joining and release dates which will be there in reference letters, it comes to 33 months and few days overall.
Now she's going to rejoin a job in 10/2018, so if she gets a reference letter in 11/2018 and update EE profile accordingly, it will be 36 months (3 years) which will give us max points for work exp. But exact exp will be 34 months and few days as per reference letters. If we get ITA in Nov/2018 based on this, will it be OK with these reference letters, or is there a chance IRCC may reject as exact exp is less than 3 years.
Our challenge is she'll lose 5 points in December due to age and that'll bring CRS below 440 again, otherwise we would have waited for another 2 months. :(

Can any senior member please answer my question. Very critical for us in the next 2 months - whether or not we can get the ITA and subsequently if the documents will be accepted?

Cic consider 3 years as 156 weeks. If u r shy even by one week, an officer may at his discretion accept or reject things

Thank you for the reply, that means that in our case even if we get an ITA in Nov under this scenario (as work exp in EE profile is calculated on MM/YYYY), but there is a definite possibility of rejection later!

One of the companies where my spouse worked, got bought by another company after she had left. We've got the reference letter from the new company on their letterhead including all relevant details like employment duration, hours/week, salary received, job responsibilities etc. It also mentions that "...XX worked in <New Company name> (formerly known as <Original company name>)...". They have also mentioned about the buy-over date which happened after my spouse had left.
My question is in the EE profile, for employer name should we give the original company name or new company name, or something like <Original company name> (now known as <New Company name>).

Put original company name and write a letter of explanation regarding this.
