Dear All,

I have total 7 years of experience in Accounts.

Regarding work experience, there is lot of confusion like which documents needs to be provided to VO.

I have classified documents in 3 parts:-

1) Experience Certificate (document which shows designation & period worked with company)
2) Reference Letter ( I think this is the document which shows jobs profile)
3) Other Documents ( such as Resignation Letter , Employment Contract, when you are not able to get the documents from previous employers)

Guys , I am really not clear about the documents for work experience.

Is it enough that out of 4 company, I can provide the details for 2 company which counts for more than 4 years claiming the points.

Please suggest.

The following issues must be explained on the company letterhead
1. Company name
2. Duration of work (start date, finish date)
3. Full time/ Part time
4. Department where you worked
5. Job title if possible
6. Detailed job duties which must be matched at least 70% with the NOC job duties
7. Contract of employment
8. Payslips
9. Promotion letter, resignation letter (optional)

If the above issues are elaborated your letter will be accepted. It does not matter if you submit 3/4 letters from the same company but all those above info should be covered within those letters. It will be absolutely perfect if the above points 1-6 are on the single company letterhead. Before submitting make sure you attach a covering letter and explain the above information are in your letters, staple them and send.

But if the previous company is not giving job description and only giving certificate showing designation & period worked , will be it ok....?

yes it is ok.... but submit ur resume and explain ur real situation why i can not submit detailed experience letter!!!please make clear urself about experince certificate n reference letter ? experince letter fomrat is more different than reference letter....refernce letter is just like paragraphically shape ....ur immediate boss can admire u in paragraph and can write ur duties in paragraph ......but expericne letter is like certificate ..........there format is short and different...
