Hello everyone,

I am currently collecting all the necessary paperwork (wes, language test results etc..) for a skilled worker express entry. I was however wondering if a work contract stating all the necessary information as per the CIC recommendations (length, job description, address, name of a supervisor etc ...) would be enough?

I am at the moment pursuing a PhD in Canada and I was hoping I could gain some time by submitting the contract instead of waiting for a letter (from abroad) etc.

Thank you in advance!

No, that's not recommended. Since you haven't even assessed your credentials and taken the IELTS/CELPIP you have more than enough time to get a proper reference letter.

You may waste more time and money if you don't provide the proper documents. Do your best to get the reference letter.
