Hello everyone:

I have a question regarding the work experience that you must declare after you receive your ITA. The application requests the activities I have been doing for the last 10 years. One of these activities was a 12 hours a week teaching assistantship in France, for 8 months. I was paid for it, but due to the type of work, it was not useful for the Express Entry application. I only included it after I received the ITA.

Now, the system is asking me to provide proof of all the work activities that I had during the last 10 years. Most likely, I will not be able to obtain a certificate from France containing this information.

My question is, does this 8 months, 12 hours a week, experience in France counts? Do I have to get a paper for it knowing that it did not matter for the Express Entry?

Thank you for your help.

Just remove it from work history section and move it to personal history section. Work history section needs to have only the work experience for which you’re claiming points and can obtain reference letters. Rest all goes to personal history and doesn’t require any reference letters.
