Hi,

Hope things are going well. I am reaching out with regards to declaring work experience in Express entry profile for skilled worker program. I will have 2 years work experience in December. When I checked the CRS tool , there was no difference in points between 1 and 2 years. Does it mean that if I create EE profile now and after December there will be no difference in points? Has anyone seen difference in actual CRS scores for 1 and 2 year work experience categories

Also, I have worked on a job for 6 months which is not directly related to my current job and a 6 month internship which is related to my current role. Should I declare these? Problem with these two jobs is that I will find it difficult to get reference letter that matches the specifications provided here - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html#s03

If I don't declare them , is there a place for me to add them in a different section while creating the EE profile or should I enter them at a later time after getting ITA?

Thanks,
Nanda

You get the same amount of CRS points whether it's 1 year or 2 years. That's why you see no difference. You have to hit the 3 year mark to get more CRS points.
Yes, no difference in terms of CRS whether you apply now or December. You just get 2 more points on the 67/100 eligibility scale if you apply in December.

If you can't get a proper letter of reference for those 6 months (The other 6 months for internship don't count), it's useless to mention them in work experience. Put them in Personal History Post-ITA. That section will appear then.
Anyway those 6 months won't do you any benefit even if you had reference letter. That would've added up to 2 and a half years of work XP, which is exactly the same as 1-2 years in terms of CRS. But you do need to declare them in personal history.
