Work Experience Claim

Hi
I have a total work experience of 40 Months out of which I have 28 months of experience as a Mechanical Engineer 2132 and 12 months of Consulting Experience 1122. I pursued MBA in between these two Jobs. Will CIC consider the whole as my experience for calculating the score or for only 28 months. And what should I put as my primary experience to maximise my score?

The whole of your experience - rounded down to the nearest whole year - months don't count so you'd 3 years of experience.
It doesn't matter what you put as your primary occupation. It doesn't affect your score at all.
