Hello!

It is of my understanding that the max number of work experience you claim points for is 3 years. Do you still have to get a reference letter for EVERY SINGLE JOB in the last 10 years?

I believe it's 5 years, but I might be wrong.

You only need reference letters/proof for the jobs you are claiming points for in your EE profile.

For instance, I have listed about 5 jobs worthy of points and a couple which don't collect points but substantiate my intended work in Canada.

I will list all my other odd jobs in the 10years history bit post ITA. Whenever THAT happens...

Under CRS you get maximum points for 3 years and above. If you qualify under FSW, you also need to score minimum of 67 out of 100 on the FSW grid. On FSW grid you get maximum points for 6 years of experience. Check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp
