wondering what the procedure is after you submit application for visitor visa

hi everyone
i'm new to this process so i am a little overwhelmed by it. i have a turkish husband. we have been in a relationship for 4 years and recently was married on my last trip tp turkey to visit him. we have submitted an application for a temporary resident permit via an immigration lawyer. it is my understanding that the application would be routed through the VAC in Ankara. On the website, the processsing times says 52 days, but the embassy says 10 working days. Which is correct? We are in the process of completing a family sponsorship application as well as a work visa as well. also, my lawyer has not given me a confirmation number yet for when she filed the application. is there any way i can track his application without a confirmation code? Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated. thanks

You'll have to see if the TRV is approved before you can find out if you have the option of applying to sponsor your spouse inland. Be aware that spouses are often refused TRVs because Canada knows they have plans to remain in Canada long term.
