hello guys ,

i hope for all guys a very happy future inside canada or utside canada ,

so i have a question about my NOC , actually i already posted this question here but i want to post it again to make sure about my situation ,

i got my work contract this last August ( 8 months ago ) and i m a Cook , so the NOC number i found in my contract is not the same in cic website right now , contract says COOK 6242 but cic website says that my NOC code is 6322 ,
so is this going to put me in trouble when i ll start my profile in EE ?
some guys said that its onlt an old one and new one ,,, but if its true , i mean if its only about the old one and new one , is it still there a problem to apply through EE ?

thank you guys again and happy life for all of you guys ,

NOC 6242 does not show up on the NOC list or it could have been removed. So when you create your Express Entry profile you will have to select 6322 (Cook) as it corresponds to the duties and responsibilities handled by you.

Whenever you apply for PNP or get a direct ITA, you can submit a Letter of Explanation for the difference in NOC in the contract and the actual one selected by you in your Express Entry profile. This will not be a matter of concern, what matters is that the duties and responsibilities match as per the NOC in your contract rather than the actual NOC digits in your contract and Express Entry profile.

If you have an LMIA backed job offer, you do not need to apply for PNP. For the LMIA backed job offer, you will get 600 points added to your existing score thereby making you eligible to receive an ITA in the next round of invitation.

All the best! :)
