Witness to Common Law Declaration

Hi there,

Myself and my common law partner need to sign the IMM 5409 (06-2019) document -
STATUTORY DECLARATION OF COMMON-LAW UNION

I am from the UK and he is Australian. We are both currently residing in Japan on working holidays visas. Should I go to the UK/Aus/Canada embassy here in Japan to get this document signed?

Has anybody else been overseas when they need to get a document notified?

Any help is really appreciated
I feel way over my head with this right now!
