If your visa wasn't canceled then you can try visiting again. However I wouldn't suggest you visit again immediately. It sounds like you were turned away because the CBSA officer wasn't convinced you were a genuine tourist.

1. If a line was stroked through the visa, then it was cancelled.

Are you still a refugee in the USA?
Your original citizenship has something to raise the officer's concerns of the real reason to visit Canada if we assumed you are still a refugee.
Hope this helps you...

If you are coming from the US to Canada, then you cannot file a refugee claim in Canada due to the Safe Third Country agreement. The only exception to this rule would be if you have close family members who are already in Canada. Otherwise you need to file for refugee status in the US - Canada is not an option for you.

The officer had probably sense your motiv could be seeking for refugee and your itend to visit is not for tourism
Cant blame the officer in this case
He doing his job
If your life in danger then you should probably seek refugee in the states

the officer ask me if i want he would send me to detention center but i was scared i have no idea about detention center ithough its a prison and they put me in lockup.i already suffered from this condition at my home country before i travel to usa and yes i dont want my self to be in priosn again.

that was the main reason i come back to usa. i discuss with my friend about my situation they told me i should have to cliam it.
any way its too late and he explain me about detention center

but now if i can reach to aiport through transist and showed them my visa asking about it that i got a tourist visa and imigration officer didnt allow me to enter and now i want a refugee claim because im not safe in my home country. with all my proper documents and all other proofs that my life is in danger would they accept it because i dont want to file a claim in usa.
if the question is safe third country aggrement but my situation if different i have a tourist visa also.pls advice

The fact you have a tourist visa doesn't change anything. If you are coming from the US to Canada - then you cannot claim refugee status in Canada due to the Safe Third Country Agreement (unless you have family members who are already in Canada).

Do you have family members in Canada?

I don't know. Maybe because he knew you can't claim refugee status in Canada.

Anyway - the important point is that it is not possible for you to claim refugee status in Canada if you are coming from the US. You would have to claim refugee status in the US instead.

Guys - read this http://ccrweb.ca/sites/ccrweb.ca/files/static-files/s3cFAQ.html

It seems that:

Does the safe third country rule apply to all refugee claimants arriving from the US?
No, the rule applies only if you make a refugee claim at a land port of entry. The rule does not apply if you arrive by air or by water: claims made at an airport, port or ferry landing are not affected by the safe third country rule, even though you arrived from the US. The rule does not apply to claims made inside Canada: if you enter Canada from the US and later make a refugee claim at an immigration office within Canada, you are not affected by the safe third country rule.
So you should be eligible if you flew in (at an airport) it seems that the safe third country only applies to land ports of entry!

but now the OPs visitor visa may have been cancelled when turned back originally so may have an issue boarding a plane to Canada without a visa to even land or transit ?

Correct.. Since it's a line he could argue that it was done by someone by mistake and it's still valid, at the end of the day the people checking the passports only need to check if he has a visa. If the visa is valid or not that is a border control issue.

It really does depend on how desperate he is, but seeking asylum is a pretty desperate thing.

Another point, he can also seek asylum in the US, according to that site it wouldn't make a diference as he could still apply if he gets to Canada by Air or Sea.
