withdrawn citizenship application and applied again

Hi everyone. I previously applied for citizenshep on 12 October 2024 online.
AOR 9 NOvember 2024. Taken test 20 November 2024. background cleared 27 November 2024
Language and prohibation completed to 2nd february. But sent popular RQ for physical presence i missed 3 days due to a trip and i was short of this.
Officer advised me to withdraw or refer to judge on 2 january 2024. waited till 29 february no response. So i proceed to withdraw my previous application and applied new application same day . anyone in same boat can share experience. is this the right decision i made. what to expect. and will it be sooner.

Yes it's the right decision.
If missing a trip meant you were below the physical presence requirement, your application would have been refused in a few months, or years. You're saving a lot of time by withdrawing.
