I was nominated by the province of Ontario under a PNP stream, I proceeded with a PR application from this.
This was before I moved to Canada on an open work permit, an opportunity which had been blocked by covid restrictions for some time.
During covid the only way I could move over with my open work permit was to receive a job offer, I got this is Alberta and now live there.
My PR for the Ontario PNP is still processing. Since moving to Alberta I've decided I really like it here and would rather live here.
I think my chances of being nominated for the tech pathway are strong and worth the risk.
If I withdraw my PR application to do this instead, will they hold it against me? Could they refuse me for any future PR?
I just want to be honest with them and move to a province that I would much rather stay in.
