A question for experts,
Do you know what may happen if i get a study permit, and then I withdraw from the course (hence avoid paying any tuition fee). Can I still stay inside Canada till my permit expires?
I am thinking of doing this as im currently inside Canada, my work permit is about to expire, current employer doesnt intend to re-extend it and i haven't found another employer. I have also applied for CEC and i believe I should be getting that in 5-7 months time. Hence, i want to avoid incurring cost of going home and returning back and want to stay here. In this case, if i get study permit I can atleast stay in the country and keep applying for jobs. If i get one, i blieve my study permit can be changed to work permit easily?
If i withdraw from course, do i need to inform CIC and leave the country?
