Here's the situation: I am on a work permit right now and my souse is on his study permit. We applied PR together on February 29th and after receiving the AOR, we also applied for his work permit as he doesn't want to continue his studies. It was on July 12th. Now the school days are approaching and we haven't received the decision on his work permit or PR. So I was wondering what happenS if he withdraws from school. We are aware that he won't be able to work but what else should we know? Can he stay since he has already applied for his PR and work permit or is there a certain window time.
