Withdrawal of money submitted as Proof of funds for work permit application

Hi,

I would like to know about the withdrawal of money that we deposit in our bank account to prepare bank statement for work permit application (proof of funds)

At what stage we are able to withraw it and how much amount (partially or whole)?

i.e
After the bank statement is submitted to IRCC or
After the application is approved or
After we arrive in Canada?

Ideally, you should do it after arriving into Canada. In some cases, CBSA officer at might ask for proof of funds.

Because we cannot carry that amount of cash at the time of travelling, should updated bank statement be Ok with some cash in hand?

The funds should be readily accessible to you. You could carry travellers cheque or keep the money in home country account and then wire transfer later.
