Hi Everyone...

Just started this new topic...If anyone has filed application in canada as inland and if the person has exited the country in error .
and since you cant re-enter back ..apply any visa they will simply reject it in NDVO.
Has anyone had experience when one puts cancellation how long does it take ?
and can one apply outland application while inland is still being cancelled ?
Or do we wait till cancellation is over ?

Please feel free to join this topic and save ourselves from the agents who do not know anything and yet charge money.
As I feel no one has exact clarity ..

A person can enter back if the person has student or work visa. Resident permit or visitor visa will not be entertained at the POE

When I left canada my work permit had expired. And I applied for visitor visa . And I got sthg called visitor record, i left for India thinking can come back as there was a date mentioned. Lil did I know it was merely extension to stay in country not leave.
I applied for visitor visa from India it got refused,

There is nothing preventing you from filing an inland AND an outland application at the same time, as far as I'm aware. Your inland application is cancelled as you were denied entry. If you want to file outland, I think you can go ahead, start preparing your file, and explain why you choose to leave the country, even if you were not supposed to, so that the VO doesn't think that your relationship was over or anything like this. Be up-front about the fact that Inland was cancelled and why.
Good luck,
Sweden

Thanks Sweden,

But the CIC agent in canada said until inland application is fully cancelled , you can not apply for outland ? as inland application file no still shows in process online .

so that is the part which is stopping us filing a new application. as police clearance will expire tho I still have not done medicals

if they go at this rate then me and my husband will apart almost 2 years considering the time for processing.

It's my understanding that you can have multiple PR applications running at once, as long as they are in separate immigration classes.
So, a CEC, PNP, Family are OK, but CEC, PNP, CEC are not.

Not nomination with Family though. I have a friend who applied for Provincial Nominee and got refused with her nomination because she got married to a Canadian Citizen.
Her file was closed and the officer asked her to apply for Family Sponsorship instead.

And as far as I know, you can't have multiple application for PR. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Don't think that you are allowed to apply for multiple PR applications. If you were in fact allowed, it wouldn't reflect well on the applicant. CIC would probably thinks the applicant is trying to apply for PR to Canada for convenience's sake by seeing multiple applications being submitted.

I've had a good search around the CIC website and looked at both IRPA and IRPR. I wasn't able to find any prohibition on multiple concurrent applications. The only reference that I could find was in one of the Operational Manuals where it stated that multiple applications should be coalesced.

I'm willing to be educated....
