Hi everyone,
Last week, CIC in Alberta received my application to remove a restriction from my post-graduation work permit.
However, meanwhile I found out that I can flagpole - while doing this I need to submit fees again so I decided to withdraw my paper application sent to CIC.
I called the call centre and a nice guy confirmed that the process has not started and put a note on file that I am withdrawing it. He told me that it might take up to 16 weeks to issue a refund.
Has anyone requested a refund previously? I imagine 16 weeks is the maximum time to process the refund but I would like to know if it can be in general faster?
Thank you so much for sharing your stories and experience.
