Hi dear members,

I want to withdraw my PNP application.
But I am a bit concerned because I just told them I intended to stay in the province but immediately after one month I tell them I have changed my mind.

Do you think they will consider it unreasonable and determine that I lied to them when I declared that I wanted to stay in province in the first place?

Will I be able to get all my documents after withdrawal?
Please advise, thank you!

hello,
The best thing to do is being honest; if you do not intend to live and settle in the Province you applied to, it's better to withdraw your application right away. You can send the provincial office a letter. I would expect that they would send you a withdrawal confirmation email or letter and your documents but better check with them.

Good day,

Which Province did u apply to?

I have applied to AINP, and after I got my File # I lost my job and I had to leave the province. Moved to BC as I got Job. The day I lost my job, I notified the AINP, and After that I withdraw my application, stating lost of job, and moving out of the Province. They call me a month later informing me that they reciev my request and will be proceeded once they get to my file. Also told me to not expect to get any paper Back as they file them, I remember the lady saying that they don't send this papers to CIC as it was not fully processed.

Cheers

Hi! I applied to Manitoba. But now I want to move to ONTARIO because I find a job there. My situation is different from yours. My application is already in process so I do not know if they will refuse my application even thought I request a withdrawal at this time. Also I don't know if they have already sent my application to CIC...

Hello calvinwang,

It's better for you to be proactive and notify the province. That is, if in the future you don't want to have trouble with CIC for misrepresentation.
