With a TRV entering Canada and a pending PRV application, will i be denied entry

I will be applying outbound and will wait it out in Canada as i have a TRV. When I enter Canada with my canadian husband and daughter and the officer asks me if i have a PRV application, and i tell them the truth, will they deny me entry? thanks again for your input!

Once a visit visa is granted by Canadian embassy and upon your arrival at port of entry, the IO should satisfy about your return. He may write the visa validity date in your passport and the duration of your stay is upto the IO.
