Winter 2021 SDS applicants from Pakistan has anyone heard anything yet? Or anyone you know who has received an update?

Anyone from Pakistan who applied for Winter 2021, has anyone gotten any update yet? I applied in early September and since my biometrics, I haven't received a single update.
It's December now, and they are still processing Fall 2020 applications. Since we didn't even get AIPs and there's no hope of getting the visa till January, would it be wise to defer to Fall 2021.
But for some reason, I feel like the situation will not improve in Fall 2021 and we will have to face the same problems even if we defer.
Has anyone heard anything yet?

today got uodate in account ircc started review of eligibilty applied on 2nd sep 2020 after first refusal in augast.One other member here from pak sds applicant also got started review of eleigibilty 3 days before.one of my friends son got refused on 2nd dec after rwquest for new loa on 29 nov which he uploaded on 1 dec he applied in march bio in 7 augast midcal passed on 15th se0 but later refused

Yes, I was thinking the same too. This gives me a little hope too.
My university is giving an option of a refund if I get a rejection till March 29. But if I get rejection after March 29 I will lose all the money.
So if my eligibility starts in this month (given that I applied in 2nd week of sept) do you think I should start online classes?

HI, MY SON APPLIED IN NOVEMBER 2019 ITS BEEN MORE THAN 1 YEARS IN SEPTEMBER WE RECEIVED 1ST APPROVAL AND ASKED FOR MEDICAL WE DID MEDICAL IN SEPTEMBER AND STILL NOW WAITING FOR 2ND APPROVAL....... I can defer till January 26.
After that I can only defer and get a refund if I get a rejection (this option is available only till March 29)

this only God.knows and ircc knows because every one has diffrent profile and diffrent agent working 9n files .i hope for better i have hope to get SP for my nephew.

yes you are right because 3 days before one more member who applied on same date as my nephew on ( 2nd sep )got also his review of eligibilty started .means they have started files of 1st week of sep

donot start online classes its wate of money . because if you r in pakistan time differance issue . internet conectivity problem slow internet .electricty shut down and many many problems and we pakistanies are.not fameliar to.online studies

You ll need to submit passport + ppr in person to gerry’s near chak shahzad.They ll charge u for courier and will return in about 10 days
