Will wife's pregnancy impact our PR application?

Hello,

Just recently we found out that my wife is pregnant and is due 3rd week of Dec.

We are just about to submit the final PR application, having uploaded almost all the documents except medical.

The doctor confirms that my wife will not be allowed an X-ray and we don't intend to wear the lead apron and risk any harm to the child.

My question is, how will this impact our PR application. Will my application be approved and her's be put on hold pending X-ray, or will both of our applications together be put on hold? If this is the case, will our processing time increase substantially?

My wife will be able to submit her X-ray around New year's. So when will we receive final approval, if all else is Ok?

The application (or more specifically the medical examination) will be put on hold until the x-rays are completed, it doesn't matter whether she is the principal applicant or the dependent, the application for the both of you will be on hold.
