Hi,

I had 6 months Work Experience Full time role in NOC B 2282 from December 2015 - June 2016. This role was a temporary contract job for 5 months and it got extended by 1 month. Hence 6 months in total.

In Ontario Provincial Nominee website for job offer eligibility, they write that full time has to be permanent. For express entry does that matter?

the thing with that is that you get no points in EE for experience which is less than 1 year .

but say if you work 6 more months in your field of study then you can combine these two to a full 1 year and then you will get points for that.

Thank You so much for the reply.

I was reading a post that a user posted about his PR rejected because of not being continuous.

My Job ended on 10 June Friday. I started my new job on 13 June Monday. There was a break but essentially I did not even have a single day off between jobs. Will my experience be considered continuous if I apply as skilled worker with 1 year continuous experience needed?

no problem, and as long as you can prove that you have 1 year of experience( with proper pay stubs/t4's and reference letters) i don't think there will be a reason for a rejection.

Hi Ballo,

Are you asking for FSW or CEC?

For CEC,
1) Make sure that your work is not self-employed. If you receive T4 and paytsubs (normal employee-employer relationship) then good to go.
2) Your work experience need not be continuous.

Hello Nalanda,

Thanks for the reply. There is a forum post where a person gets rejected as he had a 33 day gap between works and immigration agent rejected for not being continous.

I think you are right as for CEC it need not be continous and only for FSW it needs to be.

I have another question since you brought up CEC. Is CEC currently operating and is government currently accepting applications for CEC?
