Hello All,

I applied for Inland Spousal Sponsorship in October, 2014 and have received AOR.

I just saw the processing time and it says 15 MONTHS for the first stage. It was 14 months be a few days back i checked. Its really depressing!!!

Please share your experience. Is there anything good coming up? Are they doing anything to improve these timings??

Thanks

Where are you from, what would be your outland office? I agree, it would be quite a work to gather everything and fill out the forms again but if you could land several months earlier than it would worth the pain.
The processing time doubled without any official explanation, so we don't even know why take it so long, not mention when will (if will) it change.

Just wondering...

I am sure in the last few years the processing times have spiked up a lot (2011,2012?) How long was it before they went back down again?

In the first quarter of 2014, the processing time for AIP (and some even received DM at the same time) was down to ~ 8-9 months...but it only lasted for about a month.

Oh, but then you would lose the implied status that you now have, that has been allowing you to continue to work...legally. ;)

Hahahahaha :D
