Will the most recent changes to CEC affect me?

Ok I am a recent grad from George Brown's chefs school but I have been working as a baker for the last 12 month (chefs / cooks are out, bakers/butchers are still there). Can I still apply for PR under CEC?

Haven't you just answered your own question? If your job and employment letter can classify you under one of the eligible NOC's then you can. Otherwise you cannot. In the end it will be up to VO discretion either accept or reject your NOC classification.

hi chefs are still in only cooks out just to clarify for others planning to apply in the near future.
i also want to say that there is no VO discretion here,if your NOC is eligible and you meet the program other requirements then your application will most likely get approved.
if your NOC is ineligible then your application will be returned to you with the processing fees.
the rules are clear and simple.
