I enrolled myself in a program of 4 semesters which started in May 2018. In 2019 September, I was exempted from attending college as I didn't renew my study visa and it expired. After that, I applied for the restoration of status and got it restored in February 2020 and completed college afterward.
now I have applied for a work permit and its been around 1.5 months but have not got it yet.
can my application for work permit be rejected as my study was not continuous and had to take a semester off?
