Hey everyone,
I have a question regarding my wife’s Canadian citizenship application.
I sponsored my wife through the Family Sponsorship Program while we were living in Quebec. She received her PR about two months after we moved to Ottawa, Ontario, for my new job.
My concern is whether this change in residence—from Quebec to Ontario—could cause any issues when she applies for Canadian citizenship in about 3 years. Her PR was granted while we were living in Quebec, but now we’ve been settled in Ontario for a while.
Has anyone faced a similar situation, or does anyone know if this would affect her eligibility or the process when the time comes?
Thanks in advance for your insights!
