I have some money in my US bank account and some in my wife's bank account.
Only if I sum up the amounts I can show up the minimum required for stage 2.

Can I do this? Can my wife's amount + my amount be claimed?

Yes- provided she is part of your Visa application, go ahead

Yes if both of you are listed in your application you can use her bank statements as well

go for it. just like others said, if she is a part of your application, her bank statement will be accepted.

Thanks and yes she is part of my application.

Thanks doglover,ankit and ja77.

Hi doglover, ankit and ja77

I am also in same situation. I have US Bank account statement (HSBC bank), when I have checked with them they said I would not be able to access my fund which is there in US based HSBC bank a/c in CAD (Canadian Dollars) in Canada.

So, in that case do you think if I show US (HSBC) bank statement at the time of landing - they will accept ?

Yes they will. The funds should be transferable to Canada. Now where it is mentioned that they should be in CAD.
