Will My Experience Be Counted As More Than 1 Year?

My first work experience was in NOC 5121 working for 10 months after which I took a break and completed my MBA. After completing my MBA I worked for 8 months in a different NOC.

Will this be considered as more than 1 year of work experience?

I have my sibling in Canada and hence with everything else remaining the same my CRS Score is coming out as 471 with more than 1 year of work experience and 443 with less than 1 year of work experience.

It would be of great help if someone could help resolve this query for me.

For Express Entry, you will need to have One year continuous work in a NOC that is considered as your primary occupation.
