Will IRCC waive fingerprint (biometrics) requirement if we move to Canada from US after AOR?

Hi Everyone,

I am on H1B visa in US and my husband is on H4. I am the principle applicant in the Express Entry and I got AOR Oct.18.

My husband will move to Canada next week on work permit.(He got a job and the work visa is just approved).I probably will move to Canada on work permit as well in 2 months. According to my research, they don't require inland applicants to give fingerprint now. Will they waive the biometrics for us once we move into Canada on work permit if we change our address in time? The issue is we submitted our application when we were in US and we will move to Canada soon. Since we will not be able to return to US to give fingerprints without applying a new US visa. I would like to know more in advance to make a better moving plan.

Anyone have experienced a similar situation? Thank you for help!

You have applied outland. You can't switch that to an inland application just by moving to Canada, unfortunately.

Nope. You will still be required to leave Canada to do biometrics.
