Will I get paid for my maternity leave even after my work permit expires?

I am going on my maternity leave from feb 2020, and my work permit expires on Nov 2020. So will I be still getting paid for my maternity leave after my work permit expires? I live in quebec canada.

I would assume not. You can't get leave from somewhere you are no longer eligible to work. Maternity pay assumes that you are returning to work there at the end of the maternity leave period.

Not aware of how Quebec system works. You can apply for benefits. Do you have a valid job offer post Nov 2020? If yes, then they will, if not then the chances are slim.
