Will I get 10 points for the FSW score if I get a job offer from my own business?

Let's say I am running an online business, GodsGiftToCanada.com, outside of Canada, for two years part time (15 hours a week), netting me $12,000 (US dollars) a year, and document that for my Federal Skilled Worker application to get 9 points of work experience. And let's say I register a business in Canada or British Columbia, without formal incorporation, whose stated main business is to run the online business GodsGiftToCanada.com from British Columbia, and fund that business with $100,000 Canadian dollars.

Can that business (whose sole owner is me) offer me a conditional job offer (conditional on only getting PR in Canada) in a way that will enable me to get 10 points (out of the 67 that I need) of work experience on my FSW application? I am fluent in French, so, I believe that, in my case, no LMIA is needed.

Short answer is no.

You would need an approved LMIA if you want to claim points for having a job offer now.

If you want to claim points for having a job offer without an approved LMIA, you would need to come to Canada on a closed work permit and then work under that work permit full time in Canada for a full year.

Thanks Scylla for the clarification.

What if I get an Owner Operator LMIA? ... Will I get then the 10 points job offer to count towards the 67 points that I need for Federal Skilled Worker?

If the answer to the above is yes, what exactly do I need to get an Owner Operator LMIA under the new rules going into effect on April fool's day 2021 for the scenario described above?

If the online business is already generating me $1,000/month (US dollars) on a subscription based model, where customers buy a monthly membership and their credit card is debited monthly until they cancel, and let's say 90% of existing customers/members keep their subscription current, is that business "Operational" enough for the authority that issues LMIA?

I don't want to incorporate. Should I register my online business (while outside of Canada) with some Canadian federal government authority or British Columbian provincial authority? If so, what's the simplest form of registration that is acceptable for for the LMIA issuing authority. For example, in the US, I go to some county government and register a DBA (Doing Business As). In this case, I would register GodsGiftToCanada DBA GodsGiftToCanada.com. I would then get a receipt, which I can take to a bank and open a business bank account in the name of GodsGiftToCanada.com. Is there something similar in British Columbia? If so, is it called a DBA? What government office should I make that registration at?

If you want to go the Owner Operator LMIA route, you'll find discussions on this topic in the Business Immigration section of the forum. You're very short on time to beat the April 1st shut down. Simply registering the business isn't enough. Again, read through the posts in the Business Immigration section of the forum. Good luck.

I read about Owner Operator LMIA in the business section, and also about LMIA in general in the Labour section of the forums. I did find out on YouTube that Owner Operator LMIA would give me points (50 or 200) towards the CRS total count.

My question here, for now, is, would an Owner Operator LMIA give me 10 points towards the 67 points that I need to be eligible for the FSW program?
