Will I be limited to a 1-year Work Permit if the results come after September 26th, even though I submitted it earlier?

I’m quite worried because according to the new government policy, Work Permits issued after September 26th will only be valid for one year. I submitted my Work Permit application(low wage) in early August, but it seems like I might receive the results after September 26th. Do you think I will be affected?

It is possible. You will not know until your work permit is approved or refused.
