Hey guys,
My names Colin, I'm 23 yrs old and Australian. My partner and I are looking at heading over for the 2013/2014 winter season to have a working holiday. Just over 2yrs ago I was fined for speeding in excess of 45km/h, I paid the fine and had my license suspended but it was never heard in court.
Will this be considered a criminal offence deeming me inadmissible or will it be considered a traffic offense? I have had a minor speeding ticket since then just over a year ago.
I have read the Canadian Criminal code but it does define whether that will be considered dangerous driving or not.
Any help would be really appreciated as I'd hate to disappoint my girlfriend over something so stupid.
Cheers,
Colin.
