Will Getting Terminated (Fired) Affect PR Application?

Dear CanadaVisa Members,

I need answers please.

Would getting fired affected my PR application?

My friend said the reason for leaving will show in the reference of employment that I will need to get from service Ontario and in the PR application I will need to answer why I left work.

Why answer should I write and is CIC going to know that I was terminated?
