Okay, so short story short. My tenant lease agreement with my common-law partner (with both our names on it) is completely legit, however I happen to have a horrible relationship with my landlord, he just dislikes me for absolutely no reason and makes that very obvious and if contacted by CIC I'm sure he would not paint a very nice picture of me.
So not that it really matters but my question is, do CIC contact your landlord regarding you or your lease agreement?
P.S. All of the information I have been given off of members on this site has been spot on and so accurate compared to the CIC agents I have waited 40 mins on the phone to be told some bs that is not true. So thank you for helping me on my quest for PR
