Hi,

I am a Pakistani IT professional applying for Canadian immigration as a Skilled Worker. A few questions, would appreciate any help:

I am working in a Bank at a managerial level as Senior Project Manager IT Applications. I have checked my points and I easily qualify for immigration and therefore I have decided to apply myself.

1) I checked the NOC list and I feel i fit under
0213 Computer and Information Systems Managers
computer projects manager
Is that correct?

2) I went to a consultant just to check the process. He said at this point I only need to pay for the principal applicant which is me and not for my wife and 3 kids. Does that mean that I should tick NO to the question which asks "Will accompany you to Canada" for each family member? Or should I tick YES for all of them and pay only for principal applicant now? Bit confused. Of course I want to minimize my expense at this point.

Also, I'm afraid if I tick NO to Will accompany you to Canada then they might get suspicious why my family are not accompanying me. Consultant didnt clarify this point and without paying the consultant fee I believe he will also not clarify :D

Any help would be appreciated

Is that correct? Bump. Am not an IT man. Anyone that knows better please advise him, however I do know that they really want people in managerial roles for most of the NOC.

All your queries can be resolved here without you spending any Dollar. With people like Qorax, BobbyB, Rocky, Oceana et al...

If you will like your wife and children to emigrate with you to Canada then you must tick yes. Payments for them must be paid along with your payment. For wife CAN $550, children CAN $150 each meaning CAN $450 therefore all together CAN $1550. There is no point minimizing any expense now 'cause it might lead to delay later on for your application.Stretch yourself now to gain speed immediately.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks Barsindoo,

Yes I kinda figured that if I un-tick the accompany family bit then at some stage it will delay my process. Only wondering why would the consultant say to me that it doesn't delay the process. He said just pay your fees now. Only thing is that we didn't discuss anything about the "Will accompany you to Canada" check box.

Another question which has come to my mind is how much funds will you bring with you. Frankly, I don't have much savings. At any point in time I may have a maximum of about 10,000 dollars. But thats rolling money. Comes in goes out. Is there a minimum amount of funds I should show them or should I be honest. And do they wanna see an average balance or max balance that your account ever reaches.

Thanks
