Hi Guys,
I have done BCom, Post graduate diploma in computer applications and Master of science in information technology. Can you please let me know that does IT comes under section a of AOT ? If not, then based on this education can I able to get points in AOT ?

Can anybody please answer if a three year Bachelors is considered as a Bachelors by the Quebec immigration?

Immigration Quebec doesn't give additional points like Express Entry if you have several post secondary diplomas. They evaluate tall your degrees (and not combine the post secondary years together) and give you the points for the degree that is most profitable for you.

In short, you cannot add two degrees together.

You probably will get 6 points for level of education.
One year program in UK should be equal to a 4 points program in QC.
2 years diploma in Ontario probably 6 points.

To reach 50 points it will depend in the Area of training and other socio economic factors. It is now very hard for English Speaking students after march 8th 2017.

Do you have PGWP?

Hello Binxia,

Thanks so much for replying back. I'm really grateful for that. I actually can speak French but if I'm only going to get 6 points only then it's not possible that I will meet the required points. My degree is in Business Management with minor in strategic management. The only thing I wanted to know was that despite I'm having a two year long undergraduate diploma and one year long top-up Bachelor degree, will I still only get 6 points? I was thinking I would get 10 points because I possess a degree. Even though I have breaks in my education I still have a 2 year long diplom + one year long top-up Bachelors degree.

I based my thought on this statement on the evaluation website "Undergraduate diploma of university studies - 3, 4 or 5 years". Even if my final title is of a Bachelors degree, I'll still get 6 points only?

Hi friend,
I have kind of the same situation as you have right now. My program is 3 years, and I drop 3 courses so I have to wait another year to retake it which make my study into 4 years. So, did you got PGWP after you drop courses in your 3rd semester?

Sorry for posting unrelated topic, but I need to it so bad.

Thanks
Harry
