Will 1 year online certificate increase my point, along with me bachelors?

Hi everyone,

I am graduating this year, and I'm going to get 1 year experience to apple for EE under CEC. but it seems like with only 1 year of experience, my point can't go over 400, which is needed for OINP certificate.

I'm wondering if i get a 1 year masters certificate or maybe not masters but some other post secondary certificate program, will it Count? I see that in Canadavisa CRS assessment, there is a checkmark option as shown below

In addition to the certificate selected above, have you completed a 2nd post-secondary diploma/certificate?

Does 1 year certificate count for this? Is there any requirement?

Also, sorry i meant post-GRADUATE certificate in the first post.
 
I dont think doing another year certificate will give you extra points. You need to complete at least one 3 years bachelors or other certificate, and 1 year Post secondary or graduate certificate to get full points.

Thanks for your reply. I tried the CanadaVisa assessment to check score, and checking the option for another certiricate gived me more point. But im trying to figure out what types of certificates count. I have a 4 year bachelors, and would a certificate from a college related to quality assurance, or business analysis count? I will have to be working, online and 1 year length is my preference. I would really really appreciate other peoples help too.
 
If its a 1 year certificate then why don't you just do a Masters instead?

I did a 1 year MSc after my 4 year BSc and it gave a significant boost to my score - even ECA recognized it as a MSc

If you're going to get 1 year work experience under Student Permit doesn't qualify for CEC.

Only experience under regular WP or PGWP counts.

Anyways you should try other options, like PNP, sooner you can apply for PR will be better for you.
