Wife's Study Permit and how can I join her?

My wife has a study permit in Canada and she is in Canada(Montreal, Quebec) for 1 month already.
I wish to be with her while she there. What is the right way to do it and which visa should I apply for?
I tried with temporary residence, but it was rejected.

I've told that I have an incomplete house, my own business, and single mother. And I got a reject. Isn't it enough?

Is it possible to apply for a visitor visa, come to Canada and apply for another visa from there?
And I'm a pretty skilled person with a good salary. Should I demonstrate it, or should I pretend to be an average worker with an average salary?
And basically I don't need a job in Canada. I have a remote work now
