We have been married for 3 years. My wife has not changed over her passport or id to her new married name as she wants to do it in Canada ( she is from the Philippines ). In the application to Sponsor app Section C question 1 it asks the family name of the person you are sponsoring. Do I put her maiden name there or her new name (mine)

If she hasn't done it yet, and she is intending to do it inside Canada (except for Quebec, where she can't), just use her maiden name in all the application forms etc. This is what we have done, although my wife is not changing her name anyway. Socially, she sometimes uses my surname but legally she has stuck with her maiden name. I think there is a part of one of the forms where she can declare any other names she is known by. That might be the place to put her married name if she is already using it.
