Hi everyone,
My wife first time came to Canada as a visitor 2 years ago. She had only three months of tourist visa at that time. After i got my PGWP i applied for her tourist visa again and they gave her tourist visa for three years.
First time she stayed in Canada for 7 months then went back home for 2 months
Second time she stayed in Canada for 9 month then went back home again for 3 months.
This time when she came back they didn't allow her to Canada. The Immigration officer told me that she was staying more then 6 months that's why they wont let her to Canada. I told them that i didn't know she was not allowed to stay longer then 6 months. At the end they let her in....
i will be applying for PR under CEC in couple months. Would this situation have any bad effect on my papers?
