Wife threatening to cancel spouse PR

Hello, I am just updating on the above situation. My cousin’s wife is now threatening him that since he got the job because of PR and as she was the primary applicant, she would get him jobless and ensure that his PR is canceled under “change of situation” clause as advised her may by some Immigration lawyer. My cousin is worried as he is working with Government of Canada now and he fears losing his job and PR.

It's an empty threat - she does not have that kind of power and cannot cancel his permanent residency. There's no "change of situation" clause. Your cousin has nothing to be worried about. If these threads are happening by phone, he needs to stop taking her calls. If they are happening via email or text, he should keep a record of all of them in case she ever tries something. She has no power over his PR status.

You and he need to understand something...

SHE CAN NOT GET HIS PR CANCELLED...

It's really as simple as that. She is either being given complete rubbish advice or she is lying. He has NOTHING to worry about.

I would also advise that he print out the chat logs in case he loses his phone, etc.
